Donne du sens à ton style
Children of the Mediterranean, sensitive to our ecosystem and passionate about fashion, we wanted to combine our two main centers of interest.
The blue of jeans and the blue of the sea appeared to us as evidence since we devote a real cult to them.
The idea of creating BLUE CULT then emerged, a French brand of trousers, positive and eco-responsible, both in the comfort/quality that we offer, and in the ecological awakening that we wish to arouse.
At BLUE CULT, we want to be closer to you. VOX POPULI: we create what you want! you guide us on the cuts, the materials, the colors, the ecological priorities...
Our model is collaborative by involving you in the creation of our articles and by manufacturing according to your needs without generating any overstock and unsold.
If a product does not attract enough enthusiasm, we simply do not manufacture it...
Thanks to pre-ordering, we avoid waste and we can focus on the style you really want. We need to reduce gigantic production volumes for sustainable fashion.
By creating a zero-waste cycle, the pre-order mechanism allows us to cut costs and provide an artisanal quality product at a price just. In addition, we eliminate intermediaries and fight against abusive margins practiced in the sector for an exceptional quality/price ratio.
By adopting a completely new angle and engaging this model with new brands, we want to fight against the traditional textile industry by producing less and consuming better. The future of textiles will be crowdsourced fashion.
We have been designing and marketing clothing for over 10 years. We want to start from the fundamentals to get out of the classic textile industry. We want to keep everything we love about this industry but change everything else. We will never change the quality, innovation and creativity but we change the way of marketing.
Our philosophy is to produce the best pants in the most responsible and ethical way possible. We research new low impact fibers and inventive manufacturing techniques.
You could wear it for any occasion, from a Monday meeting to a Sunday barbecue, and less procrastinate before getting dressed.
Our modern yet timeless clothes are made from eco-responsible materials. Organic cotton is included in order to reduce the impact of pesticides on biodiversity. The recycled polyester ensures optimal support and durability of the garment.
Our pants are made in workshops that respect social and environmental standards and are shipped plastic-free in recycled packaging.
Details and nuances are our obsession. From the superior quality of the brass rivets to the matte finish of the buttons, in our eyes, nothing should be left to chance. To examine the quality of Blue Cult trousers, simply turn them inside out.
We must know our global impact and be respectful of workers and the environment. 1
Comfort and practicality are put first for easy daily use.
We want to surprise you with the use of unexpected fabrics, the perpetual search for a unique style with sophisticated manufacturing techniques.
The denim industry has a huge impact on the planet. In France, 60 million jeans are sold each year. On average, the manufacture of trousers releases 20kg of C02.
Our favorite trousers are therefore the source of 1 million 200 thousand tonnes of CO2 per year, or the equivalent of 685,000 flights from Paris to New York!
With the latest observed climate changes, we can no longer remain inactive.
It's time to act!
The first thing to do is to stop import our jeans from the other side of the world. Some jeans travel more than 65,000 km before landing in our wardrobes, it's simply madness.
At Blue Cult, we favor manufacturing in the Mediterranean in a short circuit as close as possible to the place of consumption . In total, it is 4 times less km to cover. In addition, we use sea freight, which emits 13 times less emissions than air freight.
We want to look great while limiting our impact on the planet. In short, aesthetics without forgetting ethics. Dressing simply out of necessity does not thrill us. We have a taste for beautiful details, colors and seek quality and innovation.
For that, you have to find the right balance; an exclusively French manufacture would not allow us to offer the expected style and would cause the price of the pants to explode. On the other hand, manufacturing across the Atlantic would have too high a carbon impact.
Together, let's change this industry!
Water is one of the most precious and essential natural resources on the planet. We are aware of the dependence of jeans on water.
By developing new washing recipes based on manual brushing and by favoring the use of organic cotton, we reduce our water consumption as much as possible .
71% of our planet is made up of water, and mainly seawater.
Our modern society is not always the most respectful and pollutes these bodies of water and its inhabitants. This pollution has a strong impact on all of us and we must react before the point of no return is reached.
This is why we want to be a brand with a positive impact and to make you aware of the ecological issues related to the Big Blue.
So we launched the #BLUECULTCHALLENGE. For each photo of Blue Cult trousers worn while making the OK sign posted on Instagram, we donate €1 to the association PROJECT RESCUE OCEAN acting for the preservation of the oceans and their inhabitants. The idea is simple! turn a simple post into an action with a positive impact on saving the sea.
PROJECT RESCUE OCEAN is less talk and more action. The association organizes depollution actions on the beaches and does a lot of work
raising awareness to change attitudes in France and abroad.
